Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds.

Why should I come experience VR?

The short answer? Because it’s fun. The long answer? VRKADE lets you interact with another world. You could be pulling back the string of a bow or be looking down the scope of a rifle. You could be commanding an army at your feet or holding a heavy golf club. As limitless as your options are in reality you will have many more in virtual reality. We are here to provide you with the newest and best in the virtual world.

What do you mean by 'The Best Virtual Reality?'

We will always strive to be on the cutting edge once it comes to hardware and games. It will cost far less to play with us than to keep up with all the current hardware and games on your own.

Why should I come to VRKADE? Can’t I buy my own setup?

We would love for you to own your own system! The advantage of using our service is the speed at which new equipment and games come out. To keep up with that on your own will cost far more than spending 5-10 hours a month at VRKADE.

Do you do Birthday parties and corporate events?

Yes! If you would like to book an event, just give us a call.

What games do you have?

At VRKADE we are constantly adding games and experiences to our system’s library. For a full list of the games we offer, please visit the games library tab in the top right hand corner!

What if I want to play my own games?

Feel Free! If you have your own Steam account with your own library of VR experiences, then you’re more than welcome to sign into your personal account and play! Just remember that the more time you spend loggin in, the less time you’ll have to play!

There’s a game I want to play that isn’t in the Games Library! Will you add that game for me?

We’re always looking to expand our Games Library with the best games and experiences! If you have a suggestion for a game you want to see at VRKADE, please let us know! If you happen to own a game that’s missing from the Games Library, don’t hesitate to ask to log into your own Steam account and play!

What is the Oculus Rift?

The Oculus Rift is sitting VR with an Xbox controller, 1 motion tracked headset and 1 tracking station. We currently have 1 of these setups and are nice for a more relaxed gaming experience.

What is the HTC VIVE?

HTC Vive is room scale VR with 2 motion tracked controllers, 1 motion tracked headset and 2 tracking stations (light houses). Its called the 5 piece VR System. We currently have 6 of these setup.

Do you have a party room?

We do not have a party room right now but will hope to renovate one in the near future.

Can we do parties and how much are they?

Yes we welcome parties. Please call for party details as we have packages for 6-18 people, with and without food.

Can I bring my own equipment?

If you feel our peripherals e.g. (Headphones, keyboard, mouse) don’t meet your standard please feel free to bring in your own.

How fast is your internet?

The fastest available locally. For Lethbridge that’s 150Mbps

Do I have to play alone or can my friends and I all play together?

VR is a social experience! We can put you all in the same game so you will play with your friends! This is really the way to go!

How do I book time?

Just like buying tickets for a movie! All bookings at VRKADE are done in advance either through our online booking system, over the phone, or in store using the following steps: Tell us the number of people attending. Pick your preferred time slot. Complete your payment – that’s it!

Do you offer a free demo?

Be careful! Once you’ve tried it you won’t want to stop. If we have a unit available when you stop by, we are more than willing to give you a complimentary 5 minute experience.

Can I play for more than 1 hour?

You bet! You can book as many hours as you’d like, but if you’re looking to book six hours in a row be sure to do so far in advance! Time slots fill up fast!

How many people can play at a time?

At our Lethbridge location, we have six (6) separate VR stations. Each station measures 8′ x 10′ and can accommodate one (1) person operating a VR system at a time.

Is there an age limit?

There is no age limit but you must be at least 48” (4’) tall to enjoy our spaces properly.

How can I keep up with all the latest news and special offers?

Lots of ways! We’re constantly updating our website, as well as our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts with exciting news and offers. You can also sign up for our newsletter!

How much before my scheduled time should I be there?

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your booked appointment to sign our Terms and Conditions waivers and get set-up.

What do I do if I need to cancel my booking?

We will provide a full refund up to 48 hours before your booking, a half refund up to 24 hours before and no refund under 24 hours before your booking.

Are my personal belongings safe while I play VR?

Absolutely! We provide lockers on site to protect your valuables, so no need to worry about them while you play!

I wear eyeglasses. Do I have to keep them on?

Nope! But if you find that you prefer to wear them while you play, both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift headsets are designed to be usable while wearing eyeglasses.

Do you have to book ahead to visit VRKADE, or can I just come in any time?

You can come in anytime but we cannot guarantee the spaces will be available. To ensure you get to play, please book ahead!

Can I get my money back if I quit before my hour is up?

Unfortunately, no. If you feel like an hour might be too much, feel free to bring a friend and share your time!

Are people going to be able to watch me play?

Only other people in VRKADE not playing at the moment will be able to watch you play, so bring some friends to watch you!
